Tension clamp with grip strength above 15KN
Composition: structural reinforcement strip, outer stranded wire, inlay ring, coupling fittings (U-shaped hanging ring, PH-shaped extension ring), structural fasteners, etc.
Purpose: to withstand full tension. Connect the ADSS fiber optic cable to the terminal, tension (angle greater than 25 °) or cable spliced tower.
Features:
1. The outer stranded wire is directly connected with the tower through connecting fittings such as inlay ring to bear the line load.
2. The structural reinforcement strip has a certain protective effect on the ADSS optical cable. As a force transmission unit, the main functions are:
(1) Effectively transmit the longitudinal compression force to the tension bearing unit of the optical cable-aramid, so as to avoid the outer sheath of the optical cable from being strained due to excessive force.
(2) transfer axial tension.
(3) The contact area with the optical cable is increased, so that the stress distribution is uniform and there is no stress concentration point.
3. Under the premise of not exceeding the lateral compressive strength of ADSS optical cable, it has a greater grip on the optical cable and can withstand greater tension.
4. The grip strength of ADSS optical cable is not less than 95% of the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of the optical cable, which is completely suitable for the needs of optical cable erection.
Order need to know:
1, according to the ADSS cable ultimate tensile strength, running distance and outer diameter to select the appropriate strain clamp.
2. Relevant parameters of ADSS optical cable shall be provided at the same time: maximum allowable tension, daily running tension and lateral compression strength of optical cable. If it is single stranded, twisted direction shall be provided.
3. Quantity configuration: 1 set/terminal tower; 2 sets/tension tower, angle greater than 25 and ADSS connecting tower.
4. It is recommended to use this wire clamp once it has been subjected to full tension.
